Stephen J King FRICS
A co-founder of the firm in 1998, Stephen has 30 years in the profession. After spending his early career in national and international estate agency, Stephen returned to his native East Midlands and rose to partner in charge of the East Midlands residential department of a national firm. Whilst there he was elected a Fellow of the Institution of Chartered Surveyors. When co-founding King West, Stephen set out to create an Estate Agency that focused on exceptional service, professionalism and ensuring the smoothest possible route through the sale or purchase of property. Stephen is a highly experienced RICS registered valuer. In his spare time, he shares a keen interest in the outdoors and countryside sports with his family, celebrating his rural Leicestershire roots.
Tom Wilson BSc ( Hons) MRICS
Having studied Land Management at the University of Reading, Tom qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2001. Following a career as a stockbroker in London and America, Tom made the decision to move back to his rural roots and property once more. Having originally joined King West in Market Harborough, Tom moved to head up the Stamford Office as Director of Sales. With extensive experience of negotiation and a proven track record of deal completion, Tom is experienced in the sale of both town and country property across a broad spectrum. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, golf, running and equestrian pursuits.
Originally from Loddington on the Leicestershire, Rutland border and having attended Oakham School, Oliver moved to London after completing his education to pursue his interest in property. Now with over 15 years of experience in Central London, Oliver has an unrivalled understanding of the marketplace, coupled with experience of buying, selling and advising on property transactions across the capital earning trust in an ever-growing network of clients from across the world. In his spare time, Oliver has a keen interest in motor cars, historic racing and enjoys spending time with his two Dachshunds.
Helen is a proud Harborian who joined King West in the Residential Agency Team. Spending a number of years in Oxford studying for a degree in English Literature, Philosophy and Ethics before beginning her agency career in 2011 in the Cotswolds; Helen then returned to native Leicestershire to work for a national firm of Estate Agents. She brings a wealth of experience in Client Management, Negotiation and New Home sales, complemented by a particular passion for period property. In her spare time, Helen is a volunteer with the local RAF Air Cadet unit, supporting and promoting the next generation with their interest in aviation, STEM, the Armed Forces and Public Services.
Caroline, a long-term Harborian, joined King West following a career in Customer Services and Account Management for local businesses in the rural apparel and interior design market places. Caroline is the Market Harborough office main point of contact for property vendors and purchasers, as well as for King West lettings. With a keen interest in all things equestrian, a lifelong love of dogs and the countryside, Caroline is keen to share her passion of our region with those looking to move to the area.
Lois joins the King West team in Stamford with a deep-rooted knowledge and interest in property and an exceptional track record in residential property sales. Lois has over a decade of experience in matching the right property with its potential new owner. Having started her career in Lincolnshire, specialising in country homes and town houses, Lois has been based in Stamford for the past six years and has built up a fantastic knowledge of local property and the area. Lois has a passion for travel, cooking and spending time with friends.
As a long term resident of Stamford, Sally’s local knowledge is second to none amongst our viewings team. Sally has been showing purchasers around the houses of the region for 15 years and is a great asset to the purchasers looking for support in buying a new home. Excellent communication skills with an ability to listen carefully to what potential buyers require, Sally is highly regarded within the area.
Vikki was born and raised on a large country estate in North Yorkshire. Having spent the early part of her career at an Auction House in London, she moved into Estate Agency at the height of the property boom as a London-based house negotiator. Moving out of London to Oxfordshire and then on to Leicestershire in 2011, Vikki has become well acquainted with the country houses and estates of the region and is now a member of the viewings team at King West. Vikki has a keen interest in antiques and furnishings and having also spent 15 years farming land in Oxfordshire, loves country life.
