Stephen J King FRICS
A co-founder of the firm in 1998, Stephen has 30 years in the profession. He qualified in 1988 having been made a director of an international firm of Chartered Surveyors. He returned to his native East Midlands in 1989 and rose to partner in charge of the East Midlands residential department of a national firm in the early 1990's, before co-founding King West. Stephen is a highly experienced RICS registered valuer.
Tom Wilson BSc ( Hons) MRICS
Having studied Land Management at the University of Reading, Tom qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2001. Following a career as a stockbroker in London and America, Tom made the decision to move back to his rural roots and property once more. Having originally joined King West in Market Harborough, Tom moved to head up the Stamford Office as Director of Sales. With extensive experience of negotiation and a proven track record of deal completion, Tom is experienced in the sale of both town and country property across a broad spectrum. Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, golf, running and equestrian pursuits.
James Douglas BSc (Hons) MRICS, FAAV
Assistant Land Agent
James has joined King West from a farming background after graduating in 2014 from the Royal Agricultural University with a degree in Rural Land Management. James undertakes a wide variety of professional work primarily assisting in Estate/Farm Management and general agricultural advice.
Helen is a proud Harborian, who joined King West in the Market Harborough office, Estate Agency team. Helen spent a number of years in Oxford, firstly studying for a degree, before returning to native Leicestershire to work for a national firm of estate agents. Helen balances her time at work with a volunteering role within the local RAF Air Cadets.
Caroline, a long-term Harborian, joined King West following a career in Customer Services and Account Management for local businesses in the rural apparel and interior design market places. Caroline is the Market Harborough office main point of contact for property vendors and purchasers. With a keen interest in all things equestrian, a lifelong love of dogs and the countryside, Caroline is keen to share her passion of our region with those looking to move to the area.
Alexandra joined the team at King West with a number of years’ experience and has a keen interest in estate agency particularly within period properties. Alexandra has gained an in-depth knowledge of Stamford & Rutland from her personal and professional life and is proud to represent the area by helping those looking to move. Alexandra has a hand for creativity in her spare time as a writer and local portrait photographer.
As a long term resident of Stamford, Sally’s local knowledge is second to none amongst our viewings team. Sally has been showing purchasers around the houses of the region for 15 years and is a great asset to the purchasers looking for support in buying a new home. Excellent communication skills with an ability to listen carefully to what potential buyers require, Sally is highly regarded within the area.
Following relocation from Oxfordshire to Lincolnshire, Susie began working as part of a viewings team at King West in Stamford. Susie spent a number of years working in the office developing the advertising and writing of brochures for country house sales in the region. Susie has a wealth of understanding of the houses of the area. In her spare time, Susie is a hospital volunteer and keen walker with her Labrador.
Vikki was born and raised on a large country estate in North Yorkshire. Having spent the early part of her career at an Auction House in London, she moved into Estate Agency at the height of the property boom as a London-based house negotiator. Moving out of London to Oxfordshire and then on to Leicestershire in 2011, Vikki has become well acquainted with the country houses and estates of the region and is now a member of the viewings team at King West. Vikki has a keen interest in antiques and furnishings and having also spent 15 years farming land in Oxfordshire, loves country life.
