Residential

In our experience, buyers generally require an overview of the condition of the property, and advice on whether it is reasonably priced.

The well tried and tested Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Homebuyer Survey and Valuation is the ideal format. This highlights any problems that require further investigation before purchase.

Sometimes surveys are tailor-made for specific purposes: for example, properties purchased under supervision of the Court of Protection requiring adaption for the disabled. Some clients require a more thorough structural, or building, survey. Our surveyors will be pleased to discuss clients’ requirements in detail when taking instructions.

Houses, Farms & Estates

King West have an in-depth knowledge of the Country House and rural property market in the East Midlands, where the firm is pre-eminent in sales and acquisition, and the origins of the firm also lie in the management of farms and rural estates. 

We are thus able to bring to bear a vast accumulated experience in the valuation of all classes of freehold and leasehold rural property

Similarly, through our extensive knowledge as Development Land Consultants, King West can offer valuation advice on aspects of development schemes.

RICS 'Red Book' Valuations

King West are regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and  the great majority of our valuations carried out as formal written reports by one of the firms RICS Registered Valuers, in accordance with the strict requirements of the RICS “Red Book” regulations.
