Putting a house on the market used to be a task retained for the Spring or the Autumn. With lifestyles that are supported by 24/7 communication through the Internet, social media, meetings happening on Skype from half way across the globe and the rise of the property portals mean that surfing for your new home at any time of the day or night from the iPad on your knee, the traditional mantra of marketing houses just in the Spring and Autumn has well and truly had its day.

This year saw a flurry of activity from the moment the King West office doors were opened after the New Year with offers made and accepted on houses right from the first week of January. This momentum continued throughout the winter months and into early spring. More properties than in recent years were brought to market over the Easter period and into the start of the summer. 

Our suggestion to you is that there is no need to wait! It would seem that traditions are being broken and the need to have purchases completed by the start of the summer is long gone.
