A co-founder of the firm in 1998, Rupert has 31 years in the profession. After leaving the Royal Agricultural College Cirencester he qualified with the ADAS Land Service in Yorkshire before returning to his native East Midlands. For the past 28 years he has worked in the private sector, rising to partner in charge of the East Midlands Land Management Department of a national firm in the early 1990s, before co-founding King West.
Nick is a Chartered Surveyor and a member of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. Previously in private practice as a partner in a local firm of Land and Estate Agents in Lincolnshire, 3 years as Eastern Region Land Director for Nationwide Anglia Estate Agents and now a Director of King West.
Mike joined King West in 1999, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2001. He has since assumed a leading role in the firm’s Land Agency Department advising clients on strategic and day-to-day Estate/Farm Management matters, the sale and acquisition of Estates and Farms, Single Payment/Agri-Environment Schemes and all other land management related matters. Mike is also an active member of the Agricultural Law Association being co-opted onto the Council of the Association in 2011.
From Edinburgh University, Nicki went to the Royal Agricultural College. After qualifying with the MoD Land Agents, she joined Smith-Woolley, near Newark, managing estates on behalf of private clients. Nicki was promoted to Associate Partner and actively involved with the Agricultural Valuers’ Association. In 2005 Nicki joined King West to head up the Estate Management Department, putting to good use 16 years of estate management experience.
Alex has extensive experience of bookkeeping, VAT and payroll. Alex joined King West in 2005 and was recently promoted to head of the firm’s Accounts and Administration department. Alex leads a skilled and flexible team, providing a high level of book keeping and accounting service for the firm's farm and estate management clients.
Henry first joined King West in July 2007 to undertake a twelve month work placement from Harper Adams University College, returning in January 2010 following completion of his final university year, having attained a 2:1 class BSc (Hons) degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. Since rejoining King West, Henry passed the Assessment of Professional Competence in November 2011, and is now a member of the RICS. Henry is now concentrating on becoming a full member of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
Chris first joined King West in July 2008 to undertake a twelve month work placement from Harper Adams University College, returning in August 2010 following completion of his final university year, having attained a 2:1 class BSc (Hons) degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management. Since rejoining King West, Chris has passed the Assessment of Professional Competence in October 2011, and is now a member of the RICS. In addition, Chris is a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers having passed the entrance exams in November 2011.
David joined King West in 2007 before returning to University to attain a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors accredited Masters degree. David gained a Pass with Commendation and rejoined King West in January 2009 to complete his Assessment of Professional Competence for Rural Surveying. David qualified in 2011 and practices Purchase & Sale, Landlord & Tenant, Maintenance Management, Property Management, Planning, Forestry & Woodland Management, and Agriculture.
