New Land Agency Department in Stamford.

The New Year has also seen King West open a new Land Agency and Agricultural Property Department at their established office at St Marys Street, Stamford, under the leadership of director Mike Holland MRICS.

Rupert West, Chairman of King West said: “The move is part of the firm’s strategic growth following the recent merger with Huntingdon based planning & development consultants, John Martin and Associates and commercial property specialists, Blacklee Smith, in Northampton.

“Since the firm’s inception in 1999, King West has established a strong team of professionals dealing with all aspects of rural property from the firm’s Market Harborough office.”

Mike Holland added: “We are looking forward to the new challenge and our existing client work in the Rutland and Stamford area will provide us with a good base from which to grow the new department.”

Mike has been with King West since 1999 and provides day-to-day and strategic advice, including estate and farm management, rent reviews, valuations and the sale/purchase of agricultural land, to a wide range of farmers and landowners.  He is joined by Charlie Paton who joined the firm in 2006, from another firm of agricultural surveyors in Huntingdon
